On October 15th from 2pm-5pm SMART Myanmar is hosting a business matchmaking event for SMEs interested in applying for green project finance for factory improvements, to introduce them with AYA Bank and Myanmar Citizens Bank. Companies can hear presentations by these banks on their SME lending programs and afterwards will have time for private 15 minute introductory meetings with each bank to explore possible lending options.
8 SME garment factories are already registered to join. To receive the agenda for this free-of-charge half-day event companies should email [email protected] with:
- Brief description of business, including whether or not local or foreign-owned and basic size of the company.
- Basic details on the green project which needs either short-term or medium-term financing, possible examples include "40 kW solar PV installation", "purchase 100 energy efficient sewing machines motors", "install steam system improvements for boiler system", etc.
This event is targeted towards garment factories, but SMEs from other sectors with green projects are also welcome to register.
