GIZ SLSG and SMART Myanmar are hosting an Employers Briefing on Myanmar Labour & Employments Laws at the Mandalay Region Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MRCCI) on August 6th from 9:00am until 3:00pm. This event is free-of-charge and open to all, although the focus of the presentations is mostly designed for factories with more than 100 employees.
Lawyers from Luther Law Firm will present on legislative updates and a general overview of Myanmar's labour and employment laws during the morning session. Technical experts from SMART Myanmar will follow in the afternoon with a presentation on good practice examples of garment factory policies and procedures which comply with such legal requirements.
