This is a session for boiler operators. This workshop is conducted over 2 half-days and explore basics of steam systems (steam traps and pipe layout) proper boiler fuel storage and handling, oxygen monitoring, pre-treatment of feed water, blowdown procedures and options for fuel. Retailers joining the MADE project have committed to a 100% phase-out of coal boiler fuel in Myanmar by December, 31st, 2025. Engineers from MADE guide factories on sustainable alternatives, especially efficiency, rice husk pellets, scrap wood pellets and plantation rubber wood.
